At a glance
A Shopify product upload service enters your product data into your Shopify store for you. Product Uploads does this as a done-for-you service: you send supplier files, spreadsheets, or links, and our team enters, checks, and publishes every product to your store's conventions.
Updated
Do it yourself, or hand it over
Yes. In your Shopify admin you can add products one at a time under Products > Add product, or upload many at once from a CSV file under Products > Import. Shopify requires the file to be UTF-8 encoded and no larger than 15 MB (Shopify Help Center).
The problem, and the fix
Most uploads stall on supplier data that doesn't match Shopify's format. We fix the data first, then upload it, so your products go live complete and consistent.
How we fix it:We standardize titles, sizes, colors, and units to your naming rules before anything is uploaded.
How we fix it:We group rows into products with the right options, and check every SKU and barcode against its variant.
How we fix it:Our SEO product descriptions service writes unique copy, with SEO titles and meta descriptions.
How we fix it:We size, compress, rename, and add alt text as part of the upload, through our product image optimization service.
How we fix it:Send us the files. We do the Shopify product data entry, and your team gets back to selling.

Here is how a supplier's price list becomes one Shopify product with a variant for every size and color. The product and its data are an example, not a real client.
A supplier sends one row per size and color. Sizes are written four different ways, colors are codes, and one barcode has been rounded by a spreadsheet:
| Code | Description | Size | Color | Barcode |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SSB-500-BK | SS Bottle 500ml Blk | 500ml | BLK | 2.00754E+12 |
| SSB-750-SG | Steel bottle 0.75L sage | 0.75L | Sage | 2007541072006 |
| SSB-1000-SD | 1 litre bottle SAND | 1 litre | SND | 2007541103007 |
| SSB-750-BK | 750 ML BOTTLE BLACK | 750 ML | Black | 2007541071009 |
We turn it into one product with two options. 3 sizes × 3 colors = 9 variants under one handle, each with its own SKU and its full 13-digit barcode:
| Handle | Option1: Size | Option2: Color | Variant SKU | Variant barcode |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| insulated-steel-water-bottle | 500 mL | Black | SSB-500-BK | 2007541051001 |
| insulated-steel-water-bottle | 500 mL | Sage | SSB-500-SG | 2007541052008 |
| insulated-steel-water-bottle | 500 mL | Sand | SSB-500-SD | 2007541053005 |
| insulated-steel-water-bottle | 750 mL | Black | SSB-750-BK | 2007541071009 |
| insulated-steel-water-bottle | 750 mL | Sage | SSB-750-SG | 2007541072006 |
| insulated-steel-water-bottle | 750 mL | Sand | SSB-750-SD | 2007541073003 |
| insulated-steel-water-bottle | 1 L | Black | SSB-1000-BK | 2007541101003 |
| insulated-steel-water-bottle | 1 L | Sage | SSB-1000-SG | 2007541102000 |
| insulated-steel-water-bottle | 1 L | Sand | SSB-1000-SD | 2007541103007 |
Shopify allows up to three options and 2,048 variants per product (as of October 2026, see the Shopify Help Center), so size and color still leave room for a third option, such as lid type.
